The panel01
What are the Protoflow supplement facts?
One serving is 2 capsules, and a bottle holds 30 servings. The panel then lists 14 lines with an amount beside each.
The Protoflow label is a dietary supplement panel for a white bottle of 60 capsules. Federal rules set its layout: a Supplement Facts title, a serving size, servings per container and an amount per serving (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR)). Everything below is read from that panel, not from the sales page.
The amounts are for the two capsules together. The total is 1,619 mg. Vitamin E is 13 mg and niacin is 75 mg. The other twelve lines are plant parts and one nutrient, from 250 mg down to 20 mg.

Reading it02
How do you read a supplement facts panel?
Start at the serving size, then read the amounts, then the Daily Value column, then the small print.
The serving size comes first because every number depends on it. Here a serving is two capsules, so a line that says 250 mg means 125 mg in a single capsule.
The percent Daily Value column is a yardstick for nutrients that have a set daily need. Most plant lines have none, which is why the panel shows a footnote that a Daily Value is not established (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR)).
Serving and count, then amounts, then percentages, then the small print around the panel. Here that means 2 capsules, 14 printed amounts, two Daily Values, and a caution about medicines.
The 14 lines03
How much of each ingredient is in a Protoflow serving?
Hawthorn and epimedium lead at 250 mg each. Cayenne closes the list at 20 mg.
The table lists the label amounts in panel order and marks the two lines that carry a Daily Value.
| Label line | Per 2 capsules | Daily Value |
|---|---|---|
| Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopheryl succinate) | 13 mg | 87% |
| Niacin (vitamin B3) | 75 mg | 469% |
| Hawthorn (fruit) | 250 mg | Not established |
| Epimedium sagittatum (whole plant) | 250 mg | Not established |
| Damiana (leaf) | 200 mg | Not established |
| Muira puama (root) | 200 mg | Not established |
| Ginkgo biloba (leaf) | 120 mg | Not established |
| Chinese ginseng (root) | 120 mg | Not established |
| Tribulus (fruit) | 120 mg | Not established |
| Catuaba (bark) | 84.5 mg | Not established |
| Saw palmetto (fruit) | 84.5 mg | Not established |
| Inosine | 50 mg | Not established |
| Oat straw (stalks) | 32 mg | Not established |
| Cayenne (fruit) | 20 mg | Not established |
The 14 lines sum to 1,616.5 mg against the 1,619 mg printed, so a few milligrams are rounding. Read each plant in turn on the ingredients page.
Amounts vs studies04
Is the supplement dosage on the Protoflow label high or low?
It depends on the line. Saw palmetto is far below trial doses, and niacin is over the safe upper limit for supplements.
A printed amount tells you what is in the capsule. It does not tell you whether that amount does anything. For that you compare it with a dose that a study used, and for most of these lines no good study dose exists.
Saw palmetto is the clearest case. The label has 84.5 mg a day. The CAMUS trial started at 320 mg and went up to 960 mg in 369 men, and the symptom scores did no better than placebo (Barry et al., JAMA 2011 (CAMUS)). A Cochrane review of 32 trials agreed (Tacklind et al., Cochrane 2012). So the dose is low, and even high doses showed little.
Niacin runs the other way. At 75 mg, a serving is more than twice the 35 mg a day upper limit for supplemental niacin, and flushing is the usual effect (NIH ODS, Niacin). Vitamin E at 13 mg is under its limit.

What do the claims on the front of the Protoflow bottle mean?
The front prints three phrases: High Potency, Day & Night Formula and Optimal Flow Support. None of them is a measured result.
The panel is the legal record of what is in a serving. The front is marketing. It can use "support" wording if the seller has some basis and prints the FDA dagger, and the bottle does both (FDA, Structure/Function Claims). The dagger leads to a line that FDA has not evaluated the statement and that the product is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
"High Potency" has no legal size. "Day & Night Formula" sits beside directions that give no time of day. "Optimal Flow Support" does not name a body part. The three icons on the side strip show a male symbol, a muscle and a lightning bolt, with no written claim. Tap the numbered spots to see each one.
Tap a number to read that part of the bottle front.
- Cap and seal
The directions panel says not to use the product if the safety seal is damaged or missing.
- The name
PROTO FLOW inside a lime ring, in the same colors as the site's logo.
- High Potency
There is no legal standard for this phrase. Several lines sit below the doses used in studies.
- Day & Night Formula†
The directions say two capsules daily with water and give no day-or-night schedule.
- Optimal Flow Support†
A support claim with the FDA dagger. It does not name a condition and nobody has tested the product.
- Dietary Supplement
The legal category. Supplements are not approved by FDA before sale.
Label vs sales page06
Why does the sales page list fewer ingredients than the label?
The sales page names 8 botanicals with no amounts. The panel prints 14 lines with amounts. This site follows the panel.
The sales page leaves out vitamin E, niacin, ginkgo, tribulus, inosine and oat straw. It also calls the product vegan, while the panel lists gelatin, which is an animal product, and soy protein concentrate (Protoflow info page) (Protoflow bottle label).
When two sources disagree, the printed label is the stronger record. It is the part a regulator can read against the bottle. So we treat the capsules as not vegetarian and not vegan, and we flag soy as an allergen (FDA, Food Allergies).
What is not printed07
What does the Protoflow label leave out?
It names a distributor but no factory, no country of manufacture, no lab and no certificate.
The bottle says it is distributed by PhytoThrive Labs in Aurora, Colorado. It does not say who made the capsules or where. The sales page mentions an FDA registered and inspected facility, but registration is paperwork and does not mean FDA approves the product (FDA, Registration of Food Facilities guidance).
Supplement makers must follow current good manufacturing practice, including an identity test on each dietary ingredient (21 CFR Part 111 (eCFR)). The law requires it, but no certificate or audit result is shown for this product. The lot code PRO-26/MY-3220 and the code PRO-3220-26-MY are seller references, not lab proof. See batch verify and testing and quality.
FAQ08
Protoflow supplement facts questions
What does the Protoflow label say the serving size is?
Two capsules make one serving, and the bottle holds 30 servings, which is 60 capsules. Every amount on the panel is for those two capsules together, so a single capsule holds half of each number (Protoflow bottle label).
How many milligrams are in a Protoflow capsule?
The panel gives 1,619 mg for two capsules, so about 810 mg per capsule once you add the shell and the other ingredients. The active lines alone sum to about 1,616.5 mg per serving.
Does the Protoflow label hide any amounts in a blend?
No. All 14 lines have their own printed amount, so there is no proprietary blend with a single total. That is a plus for readers who want to compare each line with a study dose (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR)).
Is Protoflow gluten free according to its label?
The label prints no gluten-free statement or certification. Oat straw and maltodextrin are on the panel, and the sales page claim of a gluten-free product has no certificate behind it. If you have celiac disease, ask the desk or your doctor.
Is the Protoflow capsule vegan or vegetarian?
No. The other ingredients list gelatin, an animal product, as the capsule shell. The sales page calls the product vegan, but the printed label wins. Soy protein concentrate is also listed, so soy is a possible allergen (FDA, Food Allergies).
Why is niacin 469% of the Daily Value in Protoflow?
The Daily Value for niacin is 16 mg, and the serving holds 75 mg, so the percentage is correct. It is also above the 35 mg a day upper limit for supplement niacin, and flushing is the usual result (NIH ODS, Niacin).
Where do I find the Protoflow ingredient label before ordering?
It is on this site's label reading above, typed out and shown as an image. The bottle is also pictured on the info page. The panel is the same one that ships on the bottle, so check it against your medicines first.
