Where does prostatitis pain show up?
In chronic pelvic pain syndrome, pain sits between the scrotum and anus, in the lower belly, penis, scrotum or lower back (NIDDK, Prostatitis).
It can look like BPH, since both involve the urinary tract. The difference is pain, burning or fever. A plain weak stream with no pain leans toward BPH (NIDDK, Enlarged Prostate (BPH)).
